The Two Percent Project was inspired by the diversity percentages of Silicon Valley technology firms. 

The most influential tech companies employ tens of thousands of employees, but the number of black employees in technical roles was often historically less than 2%. Our founder was inspired by this statistic to help normalize women and people of color in corporate roles in America. Today it is a non-profit organization that provides free resume services to help aspiring corporate applicants.

Isabela Faria

Real Estate

After Isabela completed her degree in International Business, she actively sought opportunities for internships and full-time roles, but did not have extensive corporate experience at the time. Through hard work, dedication, and little resume magic from our Founder, Isabela successfully broke into the real estate industry. Today she is a fully-licensed adviser with 10 years of experience, millions of dollars in real estate deals, and a thriving real estate venture she co-founded called Short Term Spot.

Clémence Higle

Travel Retail

With 10+ years of Travel Retail experience and a Master’s Degree in Business, Clémence was an accomplished professional in Paris, France. Then in early 2020, the coronavirus pandemic devastated the Travel Retail industry. When the industry re-opened, hiring was slow and competition was fierce. The Two Percent Project gave Clémence’s resume a modern refresh and within weeks she was lining up interviews. Less than a month later she was fielding competing offers from multiple countries across Europe. Today she has re-established herself in the industry she loves so much.

Judith Williams

Nursing

In the spring of 2019, Judy was laid off from her role as a Registered Nurse at a local healthcare agency. With 20+ years of nursing experience, she knew she was well qualified, but had not actively searched for a job in years, and it had been many more years since she created a resume. With the help of her son (our Founder), Judy could confidently apply for nursing roles within just a few days of the unfortunate news. Within 2 weeks she was back to being fully employed.
